02 / PAINTING AS A LIVED PRACTICE

A painting.
A lifetime.
A reflection.

J Srividya’s art draws deeply from Tantric and Yogic traditions. The bodiless head represents the ego, while geometric shapes express the elements of Rupa, or form.

The paintings invite an experience beyond observation and intellectual interpretation. They are works to live with: their meaning unfolds over time, alongside the viewer’s spiritual journey.

As you grow, a painting can reveal meanings that were once hidden. It becomes a reflection of yourself, meeting you at the stage of life and spiritual practice you inhabit.
